With over a decade in Marbella’s high-end real estate and development market, Loredana Gorghiu joins Amea as Partner & CEO, bringing with her a steady, strategic approach and a deep respect for the craft of real estate advisory. Since moving to Spain in 2014, she has led teams across established firms, guided complex transactions, and advised on more than €600 million in deals – including over €170 million personally.

What drew you to Amea, and what excites you about this next chapter?
Amea represents a philosophy I deeply connect with — structure, integrity, and quality. I’ve always admired how the firm approaches real estate and development with both precision and humanity. It’s not about being the biggest; it’s about being trusted. This next chapter is about refining that vision, strengthening the team, and ensuring every client experience feels considered and personal.

How would you describe your leadership style?
Measured and consistent. I believe in calm direction – giving people clarity and space to do their best work. Leadership, to me, is about alignment and responsibility. It’s not loud or reactive; it’s intentional. My goal is to create a culture where people feel grounded, supported, and accountable to high standards.

You’ve advised on over €600 million in transactions, including €170 million personally, and are considered to be amongst the most respected in the industry. What’s been the key to sustaining success at that level?
Relationships. Real estate, especially at this level, is deeply personal. It’s about understanding people’s motivations, not just their budgets. Many of my clients have worked with me across several projects over the years. That kind of trust is built through consistency and honesty, doing what you say you will, every single time.

What principles guide your work every day?
Integrity, discipline, and care. I believe in doing things properly and even when no one is watching. Whether it’s advising on a major transaction or a quiet negotiation, the approach should always be thoughtful. Real estate, at its best, is about creating value that lasts – and that resonates with Amea’s approach of always building long-term with long-term people.

What is your vision for Amea moving forward?
To continue positioning Amea as a trusted reference in Marbella’s prime real estate market. A great broker is an invaluable professional asset, and I believe clients deserve more from their agents. We want to offer the best all-in-one service helping buyers or investors not only with transactions, but also with development projects – from structuring investments, sourcing land and managing design teams, to coordinating with architects, interior designers, and attorneys.
This is where Amea’s Development plays a key role, bridging advisory and execution. Our goal is to guide clients through every stage, ensuring quality and consistency from concept to completion.
This often goes beyond the transaction, whether it’s helping their children get into schools, introducing them to new clubs, or providing curated travel recommendations.

How do you see the Marbella market evolving, and where does Amea fit in?
Marbella has matured into a truly global, year-round destination, attracting clients who value lifestyle and stability as much as investment. Its climate remains unmatched in Europe, something many are now discovering firsthand. We’re seeing a new wave of world-class hospitality concepts taking root – from Cipriani and Gaia to La Petite Maison at Boho Club, known for their restaurants in Miami, Las Vegas, London, Dubai, Maldives, Mykonos and more. 

Combined with the arrival of branded residences such as Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Lamborghini, and St. Regis, these developments are strong indicators of the market’s continued evolution and confidence.

What are you most excited for?
